What do I have to do to rent a car?
To rent a vehicle with us you can do it through our website, by phone or in person in any of our 7M Branches in Madeira.
How many kilometres/miles can I do?
Your Mileage is unlimited. You can enjoy the vehicle and our island without any limits.
Can I choose the car I want to reserve?
Yes, you can. But sometimes, some cars can depend on the availability of the car.
What is the procedure if you return the vehicle with damages?
If the customer has the insurance, in case of an accident you will not have to pay anything for the damages caused. However, if you do not have the insurance included you will then have to pay the damage done.
Do I need a Driving License?
Yes, you do. The minimum age of driver is 21 years, it is mandatory to present the original documents.
What documents do I need to present at the time of picking up the vehicle?
The documents requested at the time of picking up the vehicle are the driving license and the passport or identification card.
What is the Minimum Rental Period?
1 day – 24h with 2h of tolerance, then each extra hour will be charged 1€/ day.
Does the car come with full tank?
It is the customer’s responsibility to return at the same initial level. Otherwise, the missing fuel will be charged, added to the supply service in the amount of 15€, already with VAT in effect at the date of rental.
The customer will not be reimbursed for the fuel left over.
In the event of a fuel change, the customer assumes the costs of the repair.
Do you have insurance?
The rate includes CDW – Collision Insurance (with franchise).
You can opt for the option SCDW – Exemption Franchise, for total peace of mind the 7M offers the SCDW that eliminates the responsibility for the franchise.
SCDW does not cover the loss of keys, accessories, original documents and tire damage.
P.A.I. Personal Accident Insurance – Available for a daily 9€ value.
What if i get Fines and/or Penalties?
Will be the responsibility of the renter, except the cases in which originates in the vehicle itself.
In case the client does not pay the fines and/or penalties directly, a service fee of 10€ will be charged, with VAT in effect at the date of the process, added to the amount of the fine(s) and/or penalties.
